AP Faculty Senate Newsletter Vol. 2

Message from AP Faculty Senate President:

Welcome to the second edition of the A/P Faculty Senate Newsletter. This quarter, I am appealing to each of you to contribute to the A/P Faculty Senate philanthropic project as a way to show our support for students.

This year we’ve chosen the Beyond Boundaries Scholars program. If A/P faculty members together raise a minimum of $3,000, Virginia Tech will match those gifts to create a named A/P Faculty Beyond Boundaries Scholar. I am happy to report that A/P Faculty Senators have donated $1,500 towards our minimum goal.

I am asking every A/P faculty member to help with this effort. If all 2,300+ A/P faculty members make a small tax-deductible gift we would go a long way to help underrepresented and high-achieving students. I hope you will help us well exceed our goal!

Please make a lasting impact! Make a gift today to support Virginia Tech students in realizing their dreams.

All the best,
Holli
